Matter standard: smart for all Smart Home devices
Are you a committed Apple fan and use Apple Home? Is Samsung Smart Things your go-to? Is Amazon Alexa your favourite standard? Great news: you can now also use our smart lamp regardless of your preferred manufacturer. With Matter Smart Home, it doesn't matter which Smart Home system you use - you can set up your smart devices in any app and you don't need any special additional apps. You will find a QR code on the smart home lamp: you simply need to scan this and the smart lamp will connect directly to the Matter Smart Home.
Smartphones running iOS operating systems 16.1 and later or Android version 13 or later have this function integrated automatically. Devices and suppliers that have previously worked with a gateway will continue to require this, such as Apple HomePod, Google Nest Hub. The Smart Home devices from Hama of course work gateway-free, as before, so without an additional hub.
Run riot on the colour scale with the smart lamp
Would the smart lamp be something for your office? Then set up a creative corner and let the WLAN lamp shine in the creativity-promoting colours of green, orange and yellow. Control smart light by voice
If you want to start the evening with a dimmed, romantic lighting mood after a busy day, a short voice command is enough to switch from daylight to dimmed. You can also switch the Smart Home lamp on or off conveniently by voice control from the sofa - simply instruct Alexa, for example.

With the WLAN lamp, you can create an atmospheric lighting ambience at any time of day or night. For example, always let the lamp shine in a soft light at sunset or in a motivating orange at sunrise.
Automations with other Smart Home products
Is the corridor very dark at night on the way to the toilet? Then pair the smart lamp with a motion detector and the hallway will light up as soon as you enter it. Smart surveillance cameras can also be used to create useful automations. If the surveillance camera reacts to movement, the smart lighting in the house switches on immediately. This deters burglars.

Geofencing
Geofencing makes smart control of smart lighting even easier: all you need is the location function of your smartphone to switch the LED lamp on and off if you are within a radius that you define (at least 100 m) of your property when entering or leaving.
